Finally, no bright yellow guest room.

John worked hard painting our ugly bright yellow faux finished walls in the spare guestroom. We picked the same soft sage color Michelle and Ryan have in their home. New white panel curtains finish off the new look for visitors. Need to find LARGE white lamps for proportion - soon! Now John will soon tackle the spare bath with sage satin paint.

Chase is a "Superstar" and we love to watch him play!

Soccer season is over, and this video was taken a couple of weeks ago on a trip to Roseburg. We visited with Lane, Erin and little Cooper. Also visited with Ryan, Michelle, Alison, Chase and little Evan. It's great to be together with family members.

Chase is most like his father...loves those cars!

As a grandfather, I must confess that I have helped Chase in some small ways by adding a few cars to his collection. I see the great joy that comes to him in his car collection passion. I always say to Chase that we should give some of his car collection to those less fortunate, but he's not ready to do that yet. Love you Chase!

Lane, Erin and Cooper come to Newport

Mason and little Cooper are getting to know each other!
Erin, Lane and Cooper are visiting Liz just shortly after her back operation. This photo was taken just prior to attending church. Always great to have them come and visit.

We love all of our sons, their spouces, our grandchildren and seeing our family unit grow!

Michelle, Alison, Chase and Evan visit in Corvallis

Liz had to make a trip to Corvallis this last week to the doctor and while Adam and his family were visiting, we were able to get together with Michelle, Alison, Chase and Evan and meet up at a pizza restaurant. We all had good food (thanks to Adam), and the children had a chance to share good times in the play area. Michelle has many more great photos posted on her blog site then I was able to take. Check out her blog site.

Adam and family visit Newport, Oregon

We enjoyed the past week with Adam, Liz, Mason and Haley and hated to see them go. They are so much fun to be with and we do not get to see them as much as we would lke to. Wish they lived closer to us!
