Dad and I went out for a ride along the ocean Saturday. We had never stopped at Cape Foulweather. Winter experiences wind gusts to 100 mph. 500 ft elevation from ocean way down below us. Beautiful sunny day and the water was turquoise and you could actually see the rocks and reflections in the bottom of the ocean near the shore. We then went to Otter Crest where there is a huge rock out in the ocean (is in the temple movie where it shows ocean scenes, filmed in Oregon) This is where we saw the most amazing surfers out in the water. Enjoy the scenes from the beautiful Oregon Coast. We need to picnic here. ENLARGE THESE AND LOOK AT THE REAL OREGON COAST BEAUTY.

Wow! What amazing pictures. It makes me want to run away from this heat and head over to Newport for another taste of that gorgeous Oregon Coast beauty. Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful pictures so we can experience it through the photos. This the beach where Ryan, the kids, and I went when we were camping. I need to go back to find the spot that is in the temple movie. So glad you all had a chance to go out and enjoy the great weather.
